The New Year has begun, you are full of motivation! We speak from physical fitness! Then it could be some pounds less. Now it’s the time for the fitness studios! Old and even new members enter the studios. But without any goals keeps the motivation so long. You can measure any success. How you can be motivated over a long time and what you have to pay attention for, have I wrote you done in
some needful examples:

How many weights can you lose in one week – what is realistic?
It depends on the type, but one pound per week should not be upon. With the further training age (I speak in years) can the loosing of weight go slower.

The same example can happen, if you have started training right early. The muscles must learn to burn fat. Never get
under pressure and don’t expect too much in the beginning.

How do I have to wait until I’m use to the training?
The experience shows, that this can take two till six month until the body and soul get use to the training. The best signals for that are when you miss a training (whatever why) – and you miss it.

How long should I do training?
You should trainee minimal twice the week. The optimal is three till four times per week. Training distance should be started on a minimal level. My tip: 30 until 45 minutes.

How do I motivate myself for sport?
A little performance pressure is allowed! As long as you have realistic goals, which you can check, tell it your friends what are you in to and until when you will reach your personal level. That puts you on a healthy pressure.

Which tricks are there to get motivated for sports?
How I have explained in earlier blogs, can music with your own favorite playlist motivate you. Keep good feelings fixed in a diary! And be happy about yourself when have reached your activity step by step and give you an own present.

Suddenly everything becomes questioned, what to do?
There will be days where you’ll wondering yourself, why am I doing this or do it make sense anyway? I don’t see any step forward… that can be for over motivated people the first sign for overtaking training. To get conscious you should take professional consulting. A different measure would be to take a pause for some days! Start again after some days – is the feeling still there? Then take psychological help!

I’m teasing myself since some weeks for sport and it still doesn’t do any fun, what to do?

Just try a different one, visit several courses in your studio (as long as you are a member of it). What sports can you do also in your city? For example running or bicycling in groups etc…

When should I eat? Before or after sport?
The last big meal should have been eaten two and a half hour before the training. Round about an hour after the lecture should you take some food rich of carbs and protein. My tip to get not to hungry while
training: eat a half hour before training
a soft snack like a banana or a
protein shake
.

How do I avoid the yoyo-effect?
A good diet is a diet where you can take it easy and well. Means change your nutrition. Drink a lot of water per day, minimal 1,5 liter. To boost on your metabolism I recommend how I described in the text below, to do two sport lectures per week.

How many muscles can you built up per year?
You can do 1 till 2 pounds per year! A lot of discipline and hart training is necessary for that.

What are the signs for an overstressed training?
Stressing signs are: breathlessness, palpitation, dizziness, sickness, and breaking into sweat. Should you see any of these signs, please break up with the training.

Fitness training – at home or in the studio?
It depends from your motivation. If you have a lot of motivation by yourself, is training at the beginning perfect for you. Because there you can work out every time you want. The negative side is that nobody can show you what you do wrong or right. Is the motivation missing can a fitness trainer or a personal trainer at the studio help you!

To be spoiled by choice – the choice of the right fitness studio?
Commendation is the magic word! Get information in your own friendship circle. Are there any friends who are members in a studio? You also can inform you in the local internet. You will find very fast your information about needful addresses. My tip: Just book a test training at the next interesting studio and after this you can make it decision. Proof at first, before you make a membership!

Which sport utilities do I need for a training at home?
At first a gymnastic mat is a good start, a gymnastic ball and a bar bell set are definitely enough.
